IT SUPPORT ANALYST / SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

Our client a leading support services organisation Key responsibilities : Duties include • Working as part of a small team (5); performing general systems administration and maintenance of central infrastructure hardware and software platforms as well as other more specialised systems, such as routing and switching. This will involve working with a range of operating systems based on both Microsoft Windows and some Linux technologies (Firewall). • Knowledge & practical experience of installing and administering Windows Operating systems including Windows XP, must have been gained in a service environment. • Knowledge & practical experience of installing and administering Windows 2003 servers must have been gained in a service environment. • Knowledge & practical experience of Active Directory must have been gained in a service environment. • Knowledge & practical experience of security groups, NTFS permissions, Share permissions, and distribution lists. • Knowledge & practical experience of Exchange Server 2003 including Exchange Account administration (mail forwards, Send As rights, mailbox permissions) • Knowledge of ITIL concepts of Incident Management and Problem Management, Change Management and escalation.

Customer Support Consultant

Based in Birmingham City Centre one of our current clients is a leading provider of IT equipment and software. They have a multi million pound turnover and have been established for many years. They now have a need for a Customer Support Consultant to liaise with current customers. Basically the role involves actively monitoring customers usage of a service they have already agreed to use, by monitoring how customer’s use the service you will be able to suggest improvements and give insights into market intelligence. Some customers, even though they have paid to use the service, may not use the service as regular as they could and so it will be your job to phone and find out what issues, they have, any training needs, reminding them of benefits of using the system etc. Ideally you will come from a customer service background where you have to proactively phone customers i.e not wait for the customer to phone you, preferably with a technical or software bias. You must be comfortable talking to customers on the phone.
Salary: £18000 - £19000

Business Development Executive

Role & Requirements Responsible for sales of a wide range of IT products and services in to all industries. Identifying new opportunities will be a key area of this role as this is a proactive new business telesales based role. You will however have full sales cycle and account management responsibilities and enjoy managing and developing your own clients. Working from a qualified database of warm and cold leads, you will be proactively contacting businesses in order to sell the products and services of the company, along with sourcing and following up new business leads. This role is as much about selling the company as the products, and involves building long-term relationships with clients. Career progression in to an Account Manager position for the right individuals. Full industry training will be provided. You will come from a business to business sales background, have a proven track record in sales and have the ability too open new doors and really develop your account base. Telesales, telemarketing or internal sales account management skills are all suitable for this role. You must be highly target driven individual, an excellent communicator at all levels and now looking to develop your sales career within a forward thinking company with excellent room for career progression. Industry experience is not necessary due to industry training being provided, however you must have some proven sales ability and understanding of new business development.
